Drop in for as many activities as you like
This lunch club only opened in 2016 and it already has a fairly regular group of 20+ people. Even though it’s a fairly new lunch club, it feels that they have been coming for a long time, as they seem to know each other well. This is a friendly small group keen to welcome new, older members of the Ealing community. They offer a warm homemade soup, varied sandwiches, pudding, tea and, most importantly, good company.
Wayne, Sandra, Chris, Hazel, and Mary-Jean are the lovely people that run this club. Wayne has kindly offered to talk to those that would like additional information before they come along. Not a bad idea for some of us that need that extra push to join a new group. He will make sure that you do not feel like a stranger!
After lunch, you can join a gentle exercise class run by Chris, a physiotherapist that guides a chair-based class of around 10 people. He accompanies exercises with tons of humour. A good craic and laughs guaranteed! If you are not up for exercise, there are also board games. Some Wednesdays there are also classical music concerts in the church, click here to find more information regarding the concerts.
You can drop in for one or all activities if you are up for it!
All welcome regardless of faith, religion or nationality. There are quiet spaces for prayer if someone wishes to use them. The lunch club takes place in the church hall and it has its own entrance by the “polygon”, next to the main entrance.
The venue is accessible for wheelchair users.
£2 for lunch
Gentle exercise and other activities are free
