Ealing Oldies Network (EON)

Ealing Oldies Network that meets every Monday at Ealing Quakers Meeting House. They have a full day of activities: coffee morning, gardening, shared lunch and afternoon activities such as talks, dance or poetry.  Here are the up and coming events for EON:

Monday 4 September: exercise in the morning followed at 12.30 by shared lunch 2pm: a talk on dementia: Cllr Penny Jones is the ‘Dementia Champion’ for Ealing. Her role is to raise awareness of dementia throughout the borough with a particular focus on reaching BAME (black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic groups) communities where dementia is often misunderstood. She is very committed to championing the needs of carers having looked after her mother who lived with dementia for eight years. She will talk about the work she does for Ealing, ‘living well’ with dementia and also hopes to participate in a lively question and answer session.

Monday 11 September: we do not have the room so no exercise class, no EON

Monday 18 September: Exercise class in the morning followed at 12.30 by shared lunch, at 2pm: “share a poem” on the theme of “freedom”
