Ealing Oldies Network is a self-organised group that has been recently set up to provide a space for the 50+ in the London Borough of Ealing to meet and run different activities. You will find them every Monday at the Ealing Quaker Meeting House.

The day starts at 10am with a Coffee Morning drop in, offering tea, coffee, pastries and good conversation, catch up with friends and meet people of your community.  They also have permission to cultivate a patch in the garden, which needs digging and weeding. Some tools are available but better to bring your own, come and join in the fun.

At 12pm there is a Shared Lunch, where everyone brings something to share, such as quiche cheese, humus, salads and there is a microwave that can be used.

At 2pm you will find Different Activities depending on the day. The members of the network propose what they would like to put on for the others, or guest speakers are invited to come. If you would like to give a talk or share an activity with the group, let them know. Some examples are:

  • Writing for wellbeing
  • Talks
  • Pass a poem
  • Gentle dance movement or exercise class
  • Walks

The number of people attending vary from day to day and activity. They may have from 10 to 30. This is a very friendly group that want to be a network of friendship within the Ealing community. You can drop in at any time! Everyone welcomed regardless of faith!
