Bingo, Arts & Crafts and Afternoon tea

Fridays
10:00 - 11:00am: Tea or coffee morning
11:00 - 12:00pm: Exercise class
12:00 - 12:30pm: Lunch break
12.30 - 1.30pm: Bingo & Games
1:30 - 3:00pm: Arts & Crafts
3:00 - 4:00pm: Afternoon tea

Join for an hour of bingo and games, followed by a session of arts and crafts where you can make cards, practice cross stitching, paint with watercolours or bring your own knitting. Afterwards you can relax and have a chat at the afternoon tea. This is a very friendly good that enjoy good conversation and they welcome new members. There are also activities in the morning starting at 10am with tea/coffee morning, followed by an hour of exercise. Click here to find out more about the morning activities. From early February the current Golf Links Estate Community Centre will be closed down and activities will be moved to a temporary building around the corner, but activities will remain the same.

Activities are provided by Neighbourly Care, a charity that brings together people over 65 from all backgrounds to share and celebrate their experiences, cultures and lives. They offer a wide range of services and activities to older people aimed at prolonging independent living in various locations across the borough.

Price

All activities are FREE
All participants need to be members of Neighbourly Care Community Project.
Annual membership fee is £2. You can sign up simply by filling out a short membership form on the day. You only pay it once a year and it gives you access to all Neighbourly Care activities.

Transport

By bus, number E5 stops on Golf Links Estate and number 92 stops on Windmill Lane Southall.
By tube, it’s a 30-minutes walk from West Ruislip station on the Central line.
